Poland is a country in Central Europe, and it shares borders with the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia, Ukraine, and Belarus. This country is mostly renowned for its historical sights and natural attractions in Europe. During the 10th century, this region was inhabited by the West Slavic tribes, which included the Polans. Therefore, they gave it the name Poland and established the Polish land under the Piast Dynasty. However, the 16th century is known as the Golden Age in Poland because during this era culture and literature were flourishing, and it was referred to as the Polish Renaissance. Also after World War I, in 1918, Poland officially gained its independence and became a sovereign nation. Later on, in 2004, Poland joined the European Union. 

The capital city of Poland is Warsaw. This city is well-known for its rich history and various historical sights. Warsaw was originally founded in the 13th century, and it officially became the capital of Poland by King Sigismund III Vasa in 1596. As mentioned above, this city offers many historical landmarks, including the Royal Castle, which is a museum displaying the royal heritage of Poland, and the Warsaw Uprising Museum, which showcases the wartime in Poland and a closer insight into the 1944 revolution.
